Diagnosis: Prolapsed Cloacae
Treatment: Cloacae must be reinserted into the body immediately. You will need to wash the cloacae with a sterile solution, and then reinsert it into the body cavity. This may be accomplished with a cotton bud. Then place the bird in a hospital cage with electrolytes and warmth for a week. Do not allow breeding for at least 1 year.
