If the cause of the symptoms that you heard was only air-sac mites, the symptoms should disappear within 24-48 hours. If the symptoms persist after this time, then you should also suspect a secondary bacterial, fungal or protozoa infection and additional medications will be necessary. But rather than treat with 3 different medications without knowing which it might be, you should do further investigation to try and determine which type respiratory infection it might NOT be. Your best course of action would be to have an avian vet do throat culture testing to find out which organism is causing the infection.
